Kind of Tasty Japanese Bread: Yakisoba Sandwiches

We've seen the crazy Japanese pizzas before. But there are crazy Japanese sandwiches too! A lot of them involve throwing some kind of "home cooking"-style food in a hot dog bun. All of them are tasty. Allow me to introduce you to one: the Yakisoba Sandwich.

この前、可笑しい和風のピザを見たことあるんでしょう？和風のサンドウィッチもあるんだよ！「家庭料理」の食べ物がパンに詰めてあるのサンドウィッチがいっぱいある。皆美味しいだよ。その中の一つの紹介させていただく：焼きそばパンです。

First, let me explain yakisoba. It's a stir-fried noodle dish with bits of meat and veggies in a savory sweet sauce. It usually looks something like this:
まずは、焼きそばそのままの説明。中華そば麺も肉も野菜も一緒に炒んで、甘くて香ばしいソースと混ぜる料理です。このような料理なんです。

When you put that in a bun, you get a yakisoba sandwich!
その焼きそばをパンに挟んだら、焼きそばパンです！

 Your standard "Yakisoba Pan" (yakisoba bread). Yakisoba noodles and mayonnaise stuffed into a bun, garnished with aonori seweed flakes and gari (pickled ginger).
普通な焼きそばパン。焼きそばとマヨをサンドにして、青海苔もがりをかける。

 A "pocket" style sandwich, where the filling is inside un-sliced bread.
切られてないパンに中身が入っている「ポケット」風サンド。

Eh, probably not the most appetizing shot. But I swear it was tasty.
うーん。そんなに美味しくなさそうだろうね。でも、美味しかったと誓うよ。
