Sorry I've been MIA for a bit. I'm actually at home in Delaware, just enjoying time with my family and friends.
I've noticed some things about my own behavior since I got back. I keep opening my statements to people, especially sales people, with, "Sorry...", or saying, "sorry" when I hand them my credit card or whatever. I've gotten a few split-second odd looks from that. Also I think I may be smiling too much or something. I probably come across as someone who's particularly uncomfortable with social interaction, or perhaps that's just the sleep-deprivation giddies. Freakin' jet lag, man.
Ever heard of "reverse culture shock"? It's when you become so accustomed to a different culture, that returning to your own results in that same feeling of dissonance. I think I may be suffering a tiiiiiiiiny bit of that. Nothing major, though.
Anyway, I have pictures from stuff, but they're all on my iPhone, which I can't really use for data transfer at the moment as I'm overseas. Well, I could, but it would cost me an arm and a leg, and possibly one of my spare internal organs. So recaps with pictures will come when I get back to Japan. 'Til then!
